Park Revitalization

THE FUTURE OF WISHING WELL PARK

After 20 years, Wishing Well Park is in need of a refresh to ensure safe and inclusive play.

Wishing Well Park is currently fundraising for a much-needed Wishing Well Park Revitalization project — to replace aging equipment, improve safety and accessibility throughout the park and playground, and expand play opportunities for children of all ages and abilities — and to protect its future.

Phase I, improvements — completed in 2025 — included improved drainage, accessible surfacing and park lighting to improve safety and accessibility of the playground, and adding new play elements with a focus on young children, ages 2–5.

Phase II — launched in 2026 with a fundraising goal of $200,000 — will add additional play elements, including a Jungle Dome rope climbing structure with large slide, an accessible swing, and other play elements for older children, ages 6–12. The project will also create new community gathering spaces within the playground, add landscaping to beautify the park, and establish a Wishing Well Park Reserve Fund to preserve the park for future generations.
